Sells a maximum volume of parts and service for Gregory Poole Power Systems.  Primary products sold include:  maintenance service contracts, repair options (quoted) and over the counter parts.  Sells customer parts and service needed to make repairs, to improve the operating efficiency of the equipment and lower the customer's operating cost per hour.



  • Calls on assigned accounts (inside sales)
  • Qualify and Maintain contact with small to medium size customers to increase sales of parts and service solutions.
  • Recommends products and services for assigned territory
  • Emphasizes maintenance services, Extended warranties, along with follow up repairs from PM service and parts sales
  • Increases Preventative Maintenance and Total Maintenance Repair Agreements
  • Gives facility tours
  • Complete call reports daily on given software
  • Maintain current and accurate call reports and monthly sales reports for commission purposes




  • Provide quotes to customers for all PM follow up repairs priority.
  • Focus on customers assigned to them that are under the break even point for EPG Product Support (current guideline is below $5,500).
  • This role will qualify accounts, update customers complete account information and begin to develop a relationship with that customer.
  • Maintain call cycle taking into account the diversification of the customer base for EPG, some customers will require calls weekly, monthly, or on a quarterly basis. This role should maintain a minimum of 120 calls per week. (3.5 days calling on customers and 1.5 days working up quotes) after initially trained.
  • Maintain accurate account database. Will require updating customer information and machine population information in DBS, Goldmine or our operating system at the time.
  • Will need to determine customer's needs and provide solutions for them.
  • Handle direct mail and other promotions campaigns with the assigned accounts.
  • Implement a process to provide quick quotes for emergency situations as needed working with the service department.
  • Work with outside PSSR's on new accounts and growing accounts that exceed break even point as a hand off to the appropriate outside PSSR for the territory.
  • Sell the "store" on GPPS superior service capabilities and offerings.






College graduate with two years experience in technical repair services or parts sales or high school graduate with five years experience in technical repair services or part sales

Must be able to clearly communicate by telephone and in-person with internal and external customers.


Must be able to present business information on a one-on-one or group basis in a professional manner.


Must have energy and stamina to work extended daily hours, usually averaging 9 -10.



Valid state driving license with an acceptable/good driving record.


Ability to drive daily to various customer locations.


Must have basic PC exposure skills preferably with MS Outlook and Office products.
